Tanya Pashkuleva, LPC

I am a licensed professional counselor with an interest in individual, couples, and group mental health counseling. My clinical experience thus far includes working with young adults and adults. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative, informed by acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, internal family systems, and motivational interviewing. As you navigate life, not only will you have positive experiences but also experiences that create negative feelings and thoughts such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self esteem. These feelings can be a result of stressors within the workplace, your relationships, social injustices.

I have been helping clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and adjustments, trauma, relational issues, addictive behaviors, and other concerns.

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on changing behaviors toward physical, mental, and emotional well-being, mainly by intentionally choosing small daily actions that build on individual strengths and grow resiliency toward life’s stressors while reducing suffering.
